I wanted something to help me with after school snacking. I try really hard to have this part in our house organized, but just hasn't happened or lasted very long. So I made this chalk board that I can write our daily snack and it's big enough I could even do the whole week.

Repurposed Cabinet Door - Chalk Board
What is it about the New Year that makes everyone want to be organized? The organization bug has hit me too. I want to go through my whole house and organize everything. I started out my organization with this cabinet door that I turned into a chalk board. I have absolutely loved my menu board and makes it so easy for dinner time.

I can look at this daily and know what the kids have chosen for their daily snack and have it ready when they come through the door.
I painted the outside of the cabinet door white and then used chalk board paint in the center of the door. After everything dried completely I sanded the edges.
I make my weekly menu on Sunday's and now I will add the snack to our new chalk board.
Have you caught the organizing bug? What are you organizing?

Cabinet Door turned into Table Center Piece
I have had this done for awhile, but forgot to post it. I took an old cabinet door, painted it white, added handles and then mod podge burlap to the middle of the cabinet door. I have it sitting on my kitchen table as a center piece. It was extremely easy and I LOVE the results.
This is what I currently have on it. I still need to add rustic stars to the fireworks, but still loving the look.

Cupboard Door Chalkboard!
I had a little late night and nap time fun before Christmas making chalkboards for my kids. I was so into it I forgot to take before, during, and after photos. So here are the finished products!
This one is Olianna's, now that she is using it I wish I would have put her name on one of the short sides because she likes to stand it up and write.

Cabinet Door Turned into a Towel Rack
I made this towel rack for my kids' bathroom. I made it from a cabinet door!

This is the before picture - well sort of, I got so excited about this project that I forgot to take a picture of what it looked like, but this cabinet door looked exactly like the one I used for the towel rack, just a little bit different shape.

I sanded it.

Painted it and then sanded the edges of the cabinet door.
