I want SPRING now! My tulips are starting to show their brave little leaves and the mud is coming into my house, I am ready for warmth and flowers!
I made this using card stock, the cricut, and glue. I just folded a piece of card stock so it would stand up- added the letters and deco- and there you have it-

Halloween Pizza Box

This is such a fun idea for any occasion. It's a mini pizza box, I found the instructions here, but decided to decorate mine for Halloween.

I added the scalloped top to give it a little more dimension. Decorated the top of the box and a cute Halloween sugar cookie can fit inside of the box. Love how fun this is.

Witches Shoe

I got the pattern to these shoes a couple of years ago from a local scrapbook store. You can get the pattern here. I make these shoes every year for Halloween, I think they are so stinkin' cute. I think they would also be great for a Princess party and have the shoes pink with lots of bling.

Fill the shoe with candy and you have a great party favor or a great gift.

Pumpkin Gift Box

For those that are new to our blog, I go to my friends house and we make a paper craft and I feature them as my "Monday Paper Craft Post" - Now that kids are back in school, we have resumed our paper crafting day. We are working on Christmas gifts (I know it's only Sept. but we are trying to get an early start)! So this idea came from a Christmas stocking box that we made - the pattern can be found here. I took the same concept and made a pumpkin box.

I started out my making a shape of a pumpkin and cut it out of orange card stock.

I then took my template and made the box.

I assembled the box and decorated it to make it look like a pumpkin, by adding a stem, a leaf and jute to make a vine.

I then took cookies that I made and put them in a cellophane bag and put them into my box.

I made a few to give away to some neighbors. I will show you the Christmas stockings that we made as it gets closer to Christmas.

Babies 1st Year Wall Hanger and Book

I made this for my friend that is going to be having a baby boy - She is due on Thursday! I made it so she can hang this in the babies room and each month throughout the year she can put pictures and write down the babies monthly milestones - first smile, first time he rolls over, first tooth, etc.

The top row will have the babies info - his name, day and time he was born, height, weight and I want to take a picture of the baby and put it on one of the top squares also. The rest of the squares has the number for each month to write down the milestone and then a square next to it to put a picture.

After the baby's first year - I made it so my friend can turn it into a book by cutting the ribbon between rows and connecting the ends together and she will have a full year of pictures and milestone of her baby.

Birthday Gift Pack

Here is another project I did for the county fair. I saw the idea here and thought it was cute. The paper wraps around a cake box and makes a great gift idea.

I made a birthday card to go into the front pocket.

Open the front flap and you have a place for the sprinkles.

It's a great tote for the cake, sprinkles and card. I covered a container of frosting to go along with it, but forgot to take pictures.

When ready to use, just slide the box out of it's cute holder.

Stationary Box

I can't take credit for this awesome idea, I found the instructions here. I made this for a friends birthday gift. I loved making it and think it is such a brilliant idea. You have this cute box, take the lid off, and . . .

the box unfolds and has all of these fun places for everything. Pockets for cards, note cards, tags, address book, a pen holder and the pocket on the bottom right is for stamps.

Decorated Clip Board

I have been super busy getting my projects ready for county fair. Here is another project I have made for fair. I decorated this clipboard with scrapbook paper. I am so excited how it turned out. I really wanted to use black and white paper, but wasn't sure if it would be appealing. I love the outcome.

With the help of my mom I created this pocket to put some lined paper in for any time I need to make a note to myself. I also added a place for the pen to set into. I love the glitter on the paper!

I made a little address book to put my friends info in.

I made a place for a little note pad, for writing little notes. I love the paper clip that matches my paper. I added a flower at the top of the clip board with some ribbon and another clip that can hold anything I need. Love how it turned out. I'm getting excited for fair, I have five more days until I have to turn everything in. So I better get busy with my next item.

Monday's Paper Craft - Birthday Card Organizer

I found the instruction to make this Birthday card organizer here. I did do a couple of things differently. I used double sided paper instead of stamping the paper, I punched three holes and used rings to thread all the pages through and decorated the rings with ribbon, I love the how it turned out. A pocket is created after putting the book together to slide birthday cards into. I love that I can write down every one's birthday on the designated day, have a card already made and in each months pocket.

It was SOOOO easy to make.

Father's Day Cup Cake Box

This is the gift that Kelsey made for Father's day. She will be putting a cupcake in the box.

To make the cup cake box, you will need three 12" x 12" pieces of card stock and 1 piece of patterned paper. For Base of box cut card stock 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" score 3" on each side. Put adhesive on all four flaps and assemble.

Using pattern paper cut - 4 pieces at 4 1/4" x 2 3/4".

Adhere pieces to the inside of the box.

For the lid, use second piece of card stock and cut 8" x 8" and score at 1 11/16" (1-5/8" plus one line). From patterned paper cut four pieces at 4 1/2" x 1-9/16" (1-1/2" plus one line) adhere to the outer flaps of box.

Cut circle in the middle of the box. I didn't have any tools for this, so I just traced around a glass and cut it out. Cut acetate large enough to cover the hole, adhere acetate inside the lid.

For the insert use third piece of card stock and cut it 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" score at 1" on each side. Cut out the corners where you've scored. Cut out a circle, I used a bottle lid, traced and cut.

Slide insert into the base of the box. Add your cupcake and you have the perfect gift.

Kelsey is going to make a cupcake and put it in the box. It's a little early to make the cupcake, but I thought it was funny the day that we made this box we received our family fun magazine and saw this next picture, how awesome and perfect timing is that! Kelsey is going to try and do this for the cupcake to put in the box. How fun will that be?!!! We totally have a barbecue theme going, was not intentional, but I think we are going to make it a big barbecue day and incorporate the "new theme."
